Katie Farrell

My name is Katie Farrell, I became a Parent Governor at St John’s Juniors in 2024, motivated by a strong commitment to ensuring every child can achieve their full potential in a safe, nurturing and faith-led environment. St John’s is very special to my family; I attended the school myself, as did my parents, my daughter currently attends, and my son left last year. 

Professionally, I am a Registered Children’s Nurse with 15 years’ experience across hospital and community settings. I currently work as a Specialist Children’s Community Nurse with a specialist interest in continence and neurodevelopment. I also sit on the Professional Advisory Committee for ERIC – The Children’s Continence Charity and volunteer with the local charity AJ & Friends, who care for children with disabilities and their families in the community. 

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, running and meditating, which helps me maintain balance and wellbeing. 

I am proud to support St John’s as a governor and contribute to its success.
