School Uniform
at St. John’s Junior School
The smart appearance of our pupils is a reflection of the high standards we expect in all areas at St John’s RC Junior School.
We therefore expect all children to wear correct school uniform.
All clothing must be clearly marked with your child’s name.
Autumn & Spring Uniform
White polo shirt - school crest optional
Grey school trousers/skirt or pinafore
Navy Blue sweatshirt - school crest required
Black school shoes
White, navy or grey socks/tights
Summer Uniform
White polo shirt - school crest optional
Grey shorts/school trousers/skirt or pinafore
Blue checked or striped school summer dress optional
P.E.
Children come to school in their P.E. kit on their assigned day.
The children should wear a pair of blue shorts, a white t-shirt and trainers.
Tracksuits can be worn outside during colder months.
Jewellery, Shoes etc
Jewellery is not allowed for safety reasons. However, if ears are pierced, studs may be worn.
School can not take responsibility for loss or damage to jewellery.
Sensible flat shoes are essential for health and safety reasons.
Trainers are not permitted on non-PE days. Stripy or patterned tights are not permitted.

The official school polo shirts and sweatshirts are available from Luxe Embroidery Ltd, Eastham, The Wirral Uniform Shop, Birkenhead or Design & Stitch, Moreton.
Wirral FUSS (Free UniformS for Schools) is a local charity and community project that collects,
cleans and redistributes pre-loved school uniforms for both secondary and primary schools across the Wirral.
