Mark Wilcockson - Staff Governor

My name is Mark Wilcockson, and I have joined the Governing Board as Local Authority Governor. I am currently employed as Director of HR for a local Horseracing organisation. I hold fellow membership status of the Chartered Institute for Personnel Development (CIPD). With an extensive history of HR leadership achievements, I maintain a wide range of transferable skills, underpinning the foundations to effectively assume a school governor role. Along with trust, transparency and compliance, I understand the importance of the pupil’s education, welfare and safeguarding. I have strong connections with the local community and am an advocate for St Johns Junior School. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to support the staff and all stakeholders in achieving the school’s objectives.
