Our teacher is Mr. Billing and our teaching assistant is Miss. Stevenson.

Mrs. Cuthbertson and Mrs. Morris are also part of the year 4 team as well as Mrs. O'Grady.

Important notes:

• Homework goes out on a Thursday and should be returned every Monday.

• Spellings go out on a Monday and the test will be on the following Monday.

• P.E will be every Monday afternoon this half term.

Parents: Please try to read at home with your child every night, even for just 5-10 minutes and then sign their home reading record. It really does make a massive difference to their progression in reading and other subjects!

Our Learning

Our topic for Autumn 2 is called 'The Outsider...'. During our English lessons, we will be exploring a book called Leaf: A Story about a creature who is lost on a journey and just wants to fit in. This is written by Sandra Dieckmann. We will also be linking in our Geography lessons and looking at the impact of climate change and discussing the latest COP26 conference. We'll be continuing our Science topic Living Things and their Habitats and start to build our very own to attract some local wildlife . Lastly, we will be getting creative with paint during our Art lessons whilst also planning to go Swimming for our P.E Lessons!
